Bringing Together a Multidisciplinary Education

Getting a full specialist license in Florida can be one of the best ways to stand out as a beauty professional. The beauty and wellness industry is a field of interconnected disciplines, and a full specialist is a great combination!

To qualify for a full specialist license, you can expect to complete a total of 600 clock hours. These hours are broken down further with 330 hours for facial and skincare education and 270 hours in nail tech training.

You can expect to learn both skin care and manicuring in our practical space. Hone your facial skin care skills in our serene appointed table clinic, practice hydrotherapy in our state-of-the-art wet room, and refine your knowledge utilizing mag lights alongside four galvanic current and vacuum machines. And that’s not all!

You can have the opportunity to train with industry experts on skin care, nails, beauty, and wellness. Through a combination of mentorship, practical skills, and assignments, your full specialty education can equip you with the skills you need.

Transitioning between both work environments will give you a sense of what it’s like to work for a full-service spa. You’ll step into the shoes of a full specialist and feel confident in your abilities.

Industry Expertise Delivered in Every Classroom

Our licensed instructors have a wealth of professional experience to share. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in valuable discussions on spa best practices. Practicals will be led by instructors, then supervised, so you have the opportunity to hone your skills and receive feedback on your technique.

Instructors will oversee the proper usage of professional-grade tools and products, guide students in real-world concierge excellence when interacting with clients, and bring the class together for group roundtables.

Plus, we invite guest speakers from a variety of fields to join our classes.

Small class sizes allow for personalized skill development. Small group work allows every voice to come to the table, while larger discussion forums provide valuable networking opportunities. We lead by example and strive to create a dynamic networking environment for future professionals.

Other Key Benefits of Our Full Specialty Program

Flexible Class Schedules

Working in the wellness and beauty industry while earning your full specialty license is possible. In fact, many of our students work toward licensure without compromising other obligations such as work, family, and free time. As a student pursuing a full specialty license, you have the option to enroll day or night, depending on your scheduling needs.

Full time day students attend 30 hours per week for 20 weeks. The day full time class schedule is Monday Friday 9:00 am 3:00 pm.

Full time night students attend 25 hours per week for 24 weeks. Night full time class schedule is Monday-Friday, 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Financial Aid Available

Financial aid is available to those who qualify. Qualifying students can take the next step in their educational journey with confidence. Scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study programs are available through Bene’s Career Academy. Your admissions counselor will help navigate the financial aid portion prior to enrollment in your full specialty courses.

Hands-On Spa Experience

Go beyond the textbook and practice your trade while gaining your education. Bene’s Career Academy takes an immersive approach to learning. Full specialty students come into the program gaining both skincare and nails knowledge. They are encouraged to elevate their talents by dividing their time between the classroom and expansive spa space.
